Graduated from Asagaya College of Art and Design. After joining Den Film Effect and establishing his own company Crowd, made a debut as a film director for Mirai Ninjya in 1988. His best known titles include Zeiram (1991), Moon Over Tao MAKARAGA (1997), the pilot episodes of “Chōjin Sentai Jetman”, “Ironclad Machine Mikazuki” (2000), the original story of “The Adventures of Tweeny Witches” (2004) and Garo series (created/written/directed).
