Synopsis
Siang was born blind. Touching everything with his hands, he feels its uniqueness. He records sounds and voices with a recorder. These sounds enable him to see better than anyone with his inner eyes. Siang listens in the darkness while taking in the whole world. He expresses his hope and passion for life through the piano. Jie dreams of being a dancer, but her struggle against harsh reality renders her helpless. However, when she witnesses how Siang fearlessly pursues his ambition, she is determined to hold on to her dream. The encounter of the two sheds light on their potential and bright futures.

Born in Taipei in 1980, Chang Jung-chi received a master's degree from the Graduate School of Applied Media Arts at the National Taiwan University of Arts. In 2006, his My Football Summer won Best Documentary at the Golden Horse Awards, and in 2008 The End of the Tunnel, his graduation film, won Best Short Film at the Taipei Film Festival. Inspiration for his work comes mostly from his everyday life.
