Synopsis
In the small Indian village of Mandwa, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan is taught by his principled father about the path of fire - Agneepath. His life is completely shattered when the evil drug dealer Kancha hangs his father. Vijay leaves for Bombay with his pregnant mother and has only one mission in life: to go back to Mandwa and revive the glory of his father's name. In Bombay, 12-year-old Vijay is taken under the wings of the city gang lord Rauf Lala. From then on it is a journey of revenge where he makes and breaks many relationships only to get closer to his aim.

Karan Malhotra is an Indian filmmaker. After a decade-long tenure as an assistant director to many noted Bollywood directors, he marked his Bollywood debut in early 2012, directing the Hrithik Roshan-starring Agneepath, a remake of the 1990 film of the same title, which starred Amitabh Bachchan.
