Introduction

Director Tobias Lindholm, who detailed stifling relationships within a prison for his debut film R (2010), once again evokes the psychology of characters under pressure in this film. He also wrote Thomas Vinterberg's Submarino (2010) and The Hunt (2012), for which Mads Mikkelsen won Best Actor at this year's Cannes International Film Festival. With only his second directorial effort, he has become one of Denmark's most highly regarded filmmakers.
