Born 1969 in Yamaguchi, Japan. Upon graduating from college worked in marketing and journalism. Her Interviews in Taiwan began as she moved onto the film industry in 2000. Directed first film Taiwan Jinsei in 2009, and a publication of the same title was released in 2010. With a keen interest in Taiwan, she is currently making her third film.
