The Embassy of the United States of America and UNIJAPAN / 25th Tokyo International Film Festival held a screening event titled U.S.-Japan Film Academy at Roppongi Hills on the night of Oct. 22nd (Mon).

 
We invited Hollywood’s most acclaimed film producer, Jim Whitaker who recently made his first visit to Japan. We introduced the major film producing nation, United States’ mechanism of film production and stories behind the scenes from Mr. Whitaker’s experience in the first part of the event. The film, Rebirth directed by Jim Whitaker was screened in the second part of the event. There were approximately 320 participants who gathered at the venue for the screening and Q&A, making it a huge success.
